My name is Melissa Neill and I am passionate about health and fitness. I decided to become a ‘fitness and weight loss’ blogger and YouTuber because I felt that much of the information out there is designed for younger women and I found a lack of understanding and information to help women over 40.

I want to help women like you and me, over the age of 40 to reach your body goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

In fact, I don’t want to stop at just ‘getting in shape’ I want you to get in the BEST shape of your life. And YES that is possible with the right meal and workout plan in place and more importantly the right MINDSET.

Like many women over the age of 40 (and I am over the age of 50), it didn’t come easily to me, so I want to share my years of experience and knowledge with you.

  1. Good morning I tried to pay for your training course but it did not except it. Is there another way? I really would like to try it!

    • Do you mean type 2 diabetes? If you book my coaching service yes you can have a meal plan tailored to your needs but now on the six week shred or the lean and strong program.

  2. Hi I would like to try your program. I am 40 with little at no exercise routine. Should I go the lean program or the 6 week shred. Not sure what is best for me. Help

    • The Six Week shred would be better for you although you may want to wait until I bring out my begg=inners program by 20 March which would be better for you if you are new to exercise and strength training. The Six-week shred is quite tough. That is why it’s called a challenge.

  3. Do you take any supplements?
    II was suggested I start taking “creatine” to help with my peri menopause symptoms. I’m 55 and workout daily but I’m having issues now hot flashes fatigue night sweats plateau weight moody

    I’m skeptical on taking Creatine as it can cause you to gain weight I’m some people.

    What are your thoughts on Creatine and supplements

      • I need to know if I should start with beginners program as I haven’t worked out seriously or should I say consistently in 5 months. I also need help eating correctly with protein and macros. I’m familiar with MyFitnessPal app I have.

        I need help with both strength training and meal ideas. I have a lot of knowledge on HIIT training and need to start that back too.
        I like follow along videos but I don’t think you have those right? Will I know how to do exercises correctly?

        What programs should I start with?

        • Hi Vikki. Thanks for your message. You should start with either the beginners’ program or the six-week shred. Don’t start with Lean and Strong as it’s too much for someone who hasn’t worked out consistently for a while. The beginner’s program is a follow-along workout that starts off at 3 days per week, so if you are looking to gently start that would be the one to follow. Although that program doesn’t include HIIT. The Six-week shred isn’t follow along with the exception of the HIIT workouts. It is quite demanding but you don’t have to do everything stated on the plan at first if you didn’t want to. If you purchase one and you are not happy we can always refund you so that you can buy another program instead. The six-week shred does include a meal plan whereas the beginner’s program doesn’t. I hope that helps.

  5. How do you get the program? through email? Do you “own” it so you can restart if you need to stop and restart? Is there a time limit on how long you will have access?

    • It’s an automated system run through a platform called podia. Once you make the payment you will be sent an email and you access the program online. It will be available to you for 12 months.

  6. Do you help with just macros? I’ve gone low for so long that when I went up I’ve gained 13 lbs. Discouraged and stuck at 46.

    • Hi, I want to gain weight and get a little thick. I’m about 145-150 Lbs and I love weight and strength training. I have been doing it for awhile now but my most stubborn area is the midsection and back. I’m 48 yes old now so wondering what suggestions you may have. My nutrition is ok but can be better.

    Prior to doing that no I don’t just want to know if you have heard from other women that this has worked? I’m generally a good eater and have been for a long time. I am 57 years old I live in Chicago (USA) … I love to work out and I’ve been weight training for many years, and like you I did CrossFit but kept hurting this or that and didn’t see results. I am blown away by your physique and I’m so, so inspired. Just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing with the eating.

  12. Hi I enjoy watching you on YouTube but it says enrollment for the Six Week Shred is closed and I don’t see any other program to buy. If there IS a program to buy, it needs to be much easier to navigate to it!!

  13. Hello, I am interested in joining the Strong Woman Plan.. what time are the FB calls, are they recorded for later access and if so, for how long?

    How is the personalized plan created? What information is needed?

    Does the work out plan show how to create proper form yourself during weight training?

    Can the home workouts be used in the gym… is there modification?
